The Digital Community Center’s galaxy of stars, also known as the VFW (Video Film Web) Network, are at the center of our current technology renaissance in the digital domain and are publishers of online niche publications, including newspapers, magazines and newscasts that interconnect New York City businesses, entertainers, service providers and celebrities by bringing them together in informational articles and web casts.

The DCC and VFW Network believes that the “team realizes the dream” and that by working together (even if it merely means diverse companies and individuals of various vocations and professions being featured together in the same web publications) we are stronger as 2 or 3 or 4 or even millions or more than simply as one.

Here’s how it works - the digital community center pairs individuals and companies together in co –promotional settings that are a win-win for all involved. For example, you might have a Broadway actor and a stylist to the stars as we had in “Broadway Blast”. Or an emerging performer producing his own independent webisodes TV Pilot Demo alongside an Emmy Award winner as occurred in a recent “Italian American Lifestyles” piece. Or even a mentor and an apprentice as seen in the fashion magazine “Hair Fashion New York”.

These are examples of just three publications from the over 50 and growing of the DCC and VFW network that cater to interests, solutions, professions and artistic pursuits in areas that are diverse, varied and widespread and include Actors, Experts, Educators, Performers, Business Owners, Students, On-Camera-Talents, Vendors and Not-for-Profits.

And now with the continuing success of the virtual version of the Digital Community Center there is an ever building contingent committed to a brick and mortar variation. This movement is currently scouting locations in Harlem, Washington Heights, Inwood and other areas of Northern NYC.

Though currently only living in an ever increasing number of imaginations of those discussing the possibilities, this team is effortlessly realizing a dream.

And hence that is the “magic” and “facts” of the Digital Community Center process. Something has a life and a reality merely by discussing it. Something can exist first on the internet and then in concretized form in physical reality – or not. The point is the fun of the process and the working together.

   - Community Stage and Screen Artistic and Business Promotion Projects
   - Neighborhood Events
   - Rental of Screening Room and Live Theater for Independent Producers and Seminar Presenters

2. Day Care and Coffee Bar -
   - Adjacent to hair salon on ground level is a coffee bar for locals & parents w/window to daycare
   - Daycare has temporary play area f/coffee bar parents’ kids as well as is full time functional
   - Coffee bar is accessible to salon, daycare and performance space/cinema (concessions)

3. Hair Salon Franchise Flagship w/Small Performance Space -
   - This salon will have an emphasis on ethnic and fashionable hair
   - It also serves the purpose of development of a franchise business model & prospectus package

4. Internet Marketing Career Center -
   - Located in Performance Space/Cinema, NYC internet marketing arts training is provided
   - One program will be accredited to train internet marketing professionals
   - A non credit adult continuing education program will be for community businesses and careers

5. Hair Stylist Education -
   - A beauty school graduate “assistant program” for transitioning to be a hairstylist
   - A program to become licensed as a beautician is available

6. Artists Residency -
   - Permanent residency of artistic families
   - A hospitality suite for out of town artists and luminaries is available

7. Doctor’s Office -
   - Doctor’s office will have synergy with a wellness center experience
